Robert Ringer’s New Book: Action – Nothing Happens Until Something Moves

I’m currently reading Robert Ringer’s new book, “Action – Nothing Happens Until Something Moves.”  In the first chapter, Ringer discusses the concept of God from a secular viewpoint, i.e., it is not a rationalization of any particular belief system or religion.  Ringer’s search for truth in many ways mirrors my own.  In fact, a lot of his conclusions mirror my own, though we arrived at them independently of one another.

The sun comes up, the sun goes down.  Stars twinkle in the sky; the earth revolves around the sun.  On earth, an incredible array of lifeforms proliferate in seemingly miraculous fashion.  Brother, creation ain’t just some schoolkid’s science project.  There’s a lot more to it than meets the eye.

What’s it all about, Alfie?

I don’t know, but I do know this:  it is a beautiful day, I have a fresh pot of coffee downstairs, and a lot more of  “Action!” to read.   See ya.
